There is no doubt that Scripture teaches that the Christian life is meant to be lived in community. We are passionate that the Church is not something or someplace we attend, but rather who we are called to be and how we are called to live. Our gathering on Sunday is morning is a wonderful time of worship, connection, and teaching, but it’s not where the people of God are called to live. At The Vine Community Church our Life Group communities are where we follow Jesus together. They are the informal gatherings where the reality of life comes face to face with the truth of Scripture. They are places where we learn to love, grow, and live together in authentic community. Life Group communities are the backbone and heartbeat of our larger community, in a sense we seek to be a community of communities. It’s our passion that every person of our larger community would be intimately involved in a Life Group community. We would love for you to come walk with us.
Life group communities are not traditional small groups. When you think about a Life Group community you need to open your heart and expand your expectations. They’re organic and messy. They’re made up of everyday normal people who are interested in growing and following Jesus together. They consist of all kinds of people, from all backgrounds, and all walks of life. They learn as they go. They are always open to new faces, and always interested in reflecting the love of Jesus Christ to the world.
At The Vine Community Church our Bible Studies are part of our network of Life Group communities. If you are interested in finding a place where you can study Scripture, spend time in prayer and enjoy authentic community, then come check out one of our Bible Studies.
